The 1st Malaysian Animal Welfare Regulatory Symposium marked an important milestone in strengthening collaboration between government agencies, local authorities, veterinary professionals, non-governmental organizations and the animal-related industry.
The symposium provided a dedicated platform for local and international experts to share knowledge, experiences and practical approaches to animal welfare regulation, responsible pet ownership, urban animal management and pet-inclusive community development. Discussions focused on addressing legislative and regulatory gaps while exploring how Malaysia can create safer, more responsible and compassionate communities for both people and animals.
